Picture frame craft

Today, I made this picture frame craft. It was a wood pictureframe that I purchased last week at Robert's going-out-of-business sale. I mod podged cute brown & cream polka-dot paper on the front and then cut FAMILY with my cricut onto vinyl. Then, put that on brown paper where the picture usually goes. I love how it turned out.
I then used the xyron to adhere the ribbon, and glue dots to adhere the bow I made. I love how it turned out!

Evelyn & Corn on the Cob

We had dinner at Kristel & John's on Sunday, and Evie, Grandpa & Jackie had this shot down. So cute!
Evelyn ate her first corn on the cob (and yes, the diaper showed proof of it too!). It was so darling watching her eat it. When we had it again a couple days later, she would finally hold it on her own. She got some really good bites too with her little teeth!
She LOVED it! I think both the flavor & the novelty of getting it off the cob!

Evelyn & Ella (from the ward) were playing outside at the church house after mutual the other night. They found the bike rack and started going in and out of it.

we played dodge ball for mutual and Evelyn loved all the balls! She wouldn't keep off the court, so finally Justin picked her up, and started playing with her!

Megan's Birthday

We were headed out the door to church, and I just had to take a picture of Evelyn. She was wearing a pony-tail and looked so dang cute! She puts her hand like that when she is asking a question, like "Where's grandpa?"
We celebrated Aunt Megan's (B's) birthday! Evie wore a t-shirt to celebrate her that said Aunt B is the Best!

I made the cake in her favorite colors: Aqua blue, yellow & purple. It was yummy! It's always fun to celebrate with Aunt B and Family!

Card for may card group

Here's my card for this month's card group I posted the pictures backwards, but wanted to show how I made the flower.

I then fluffed up the edges of each layer and the above picture shows how it turned out. So fun & easy!
I punched the tissue paper out with a scallop punch. I layered about 8 sheets & used pink tissue paper & a silver embossed tissue paper & layered them every-other-one & then punched a hole and put a brad through the center.

Yard Sale

Our first yard sale ever! It was a lot of fun. The weather was horrible in the morning, and so we didn't set up until noon, but once we did, we had a lot of fun! Magnetic board I put together to sell. My newest blocks to sell!

Evelyn and the scooter

Look at this doll! Evelyn playing with grandpa Yardley
The other day, Evelyn went outside with me while I was working on a project. The neighbor was working in his yard (he's a grandpa) and she became attached to him. She followed him all around his yard. It was so cute. Pretty soon the grandma came out with some grandkids and Evie joined them. They were playing on their scooters and so she joined them. Grandma helped her on the scooter and she had a blast! Today, she saw the scooters in their yard, and she said, "Mine" and started running toward it. Cute. (oh, that's chocolate on her mouth from a cookie she was eating when we went outside).

This was my handout from my lesson with the young women on Sunday. It was on journals and so I made the girls Journal Jars. They have questions in them that help spark ideas in what to write.
