Halloween 2010

My cute witch at the trunk or treat. What a cutie!
The next night, she went out as a fairy...it was a makeshift costume. Because of the rain, we weren't going to go and so when she got out of the tub, I put on her pj's, added fairy wings and a tutu and her boots (of course!).

She loved saying hello to all of the neighbors stopping by to trick-or-treat!
We decorated a room at the trunk-or-treat (inside due to weather). My co-decorators were the McCullough's and Kevin whipped out those fences in 1 hour! Pretty amazing. It made our pumpkin patch look darling! What fun!

the last crop...

What a sad day. This is the last pickings from our garden for the year. It has been a bountiful year! The raspberries have been my favorites along with the, well, everything!

Mod Podge Pumpkin

It's a marshmallow world in the Winter...er, FALL!! We woke up to snow this morning. Calls for a white pumpkin to be made. I mod podged sheet music onto one of the pumpkins in our garden (after priming the pumkin with paint -- how funny is that?!?!). I love how it turned out! I think I'll offer it up as a reward for the most guesses of pumpkin seeds at the ward party on Friday!

Turkey Blocks Decor

Here's the newest idea for using blocks for all sorts of holiday decor... I have a wonderfully creative husband. I asked him to think about an idea for using blocks for Thanksgiving decor. This is what he came up with! I love it!

Pumpkin Walk in Tooele

This weekend we had a booth at the pumpkin walk. We had a lot of fun selling our crafts all weekend long. Thanks to Justin, we were able to get our booth set up. This is him working away. Notice that none of us are helping....(yes, we helped, but he was the muscles!)
Kristel behind the booth finishing up a project.
Here's our booth. we switched it around a few time during the 2 days
Evie came to see me with Grandma & Grandpa and she got to go fishing at the fishing pond. It was so cute. They threw a string over this cute fish material and came out with a toy. evie got play dough. She wasn't too sure about the whole process though....just going through the motions everyone told her to do. It was funny.

Columbus Day

Justin had the day off work, so we decided to go to park city to ride the Alpine Slide. When we arrived, it was closed. It's now only open on weekends! We were so disappointed. We were so excited to have Evie try the slide. So, on the way home, between Park City and Kimball Junction, we saw this jogging trail with all of these scarecrows along it. We decided to stop. This was our favorite; the three little pigs. All of the scarecrows were so creative, and fun. We walked along the path and enjoyed a good laugh. It turned out to be a really fun time doing something we weren't planning to do at all!

Fishing at Puffer Lake up Beaver Canyon

we went fishing with Grandpa Don, Eric & Tim and Jackie & Garrett. We had a lot of fun and the fish were jumping! Right before we arrived, it snowed on us!! And then the rain/snow mix stopped for awhile so we could fish. It was perfect conditions! Everyone caught a few each!
