Justin woke up the Saturday before Evelyn's birthday, and decided to put together a slide for her! What a handyman. We had already gathered pieces to make a swing set, but it probably was a project for next summer. So, he took the slide by itself, and made an a-frame ladder and attached the slide. evelyn loves it! It's perfect because when I work in the yard, she is entertained.

Evelyn is 2!!!
Of course, all of the pictures were taken AFTER the cute set-up, but this gives an idea of the blocks I made and the cupcakes with the picks. We also had ice cream cones with chocolate chips and sprinkles as the options for topping (Evie's favorites). We ate Pizza and McDonald's chicken nuggets. It was so fun to have family join us for the party!
Evie kind of opened her presents...mostly she wanted to play and so her younger cousins helped her.
Yahoo!! what an adorable outfit from Grandpa Don!

Finished tree
We have 2 nephews and a niece getting baptized this year! I decided to make these blocks for each one. The girl paper is pink instead of blue. I think they turned out cute and will look really cute with their picture at their baptism.
We finally got all the tree trimmings delivered to people in the ward who needed it. It looks so different, but much better then a dead tree!Stake Party

LABOR DAY! (WORK!)
Here's Justin on the roof cutting away.
Evie walking through the jungle...it really is now!
The after picture....They ran out of daylight hours and so the tree is down, but Justin will trim it up some more and then clear away all the branches. What a lot of work! Thanks to Don (Justin's dad) for helping him all day long.
