Father's day card

I decided that I don't do too many masculine cards. This year, I made a slew of these cards for father's day (yes, only 3 father's to give to, but hopefully the others will sell in the future)
I would put the gift for Justin on here, but the blog is the opening page when we open the internet, so he would see it. I'll have to wait until AFTER he gets it on Sunday.

Card for may card group

Here's my card for this month's card group I posted the pictures backwards, but wanted to show how I made the flower.

I then fluffed up the edges of each layer and the above picture shows how it turned out. So fun & easy!
I punched the tissue paper out with a scallop punch. I layered about 8 sheets & used pink tissue paper & a silver embossed tissue paper & layered them every-other-one & then punched a hole and put a brad through the center.

Spring Card

I love how this flowerpot card turned out. It is so cute because it has a back to it that props it up, so it looks like you've given someone a pot of flowers to set on their counter! The flowers pull up to a blank card area to write a message (it's tucked inside the pot and pulls up!) Here's a side view showing the stand that's attached to the card. (You can see my wheat grass in the background!! I'm working on it for another post for another day when it's all done!)
