New Spring/Summer wreath

I saw a darling post and remembered that I had a blank frame lying around. So, I decided to copy. It looks so cute on my front door. I added vinyl to mine (of course!).

summer is ending

okay, so it's about 100 degrees outside, but with school starting on Monday, it feels like summer is coming to an end! Yesterday, Evie got to play in the water. She loves putting on her "whim-hoot" and it was about 98 degrees outside, so we pulled out the hose and off she went. She had a blast! This first picture is of her trying to turn the hose. She couldn't figure out how to turn it AWAY from her. Everytime she would try, it would get her in the face! So funny, but she never gave up! The other day, our neighbor (who is a grandma and who doesn't speak very much english), came to our door. She said, "I made this for you". It was this darling doll with blond hair like Evie's and the dress she crocheted -- with a hat and all! What a neat and sweet gift from her! We just love them. They are so kind to us, and so precious with Evelyn. What a fun treasure!

Dandelions

I know this is how they spread, but it was so cute watching her gather them! she wouldn't even let go of them once we came in the house. I had to distract her to even get them from her.

Fountain at Gateway

We played with cousins all day today! We went to the church History museum where they have an I am a Child of God exhibit, with hands-on activities for the kids. They had a great time!

We had so much fun today playing in the water fountains at the Gateway! Evelyn was a little shy about the water, but a couple times she wandered through. She just looked so stinkin' cute in her swimsuit, I couldn't resist the shots...

Jackie (Evie's cousin) had fun too! We had a great day with family playing!
