The Farm in Minersville

This weekend was the start of the deer hunt.  Evie and I drove to Minersville with Justin and he took off to their camp in the mountain.  On Saturday night he came back down to spend Sunday with us.  We had a really nice time visiting and staying with Grandpa Great and Grandma Kathy was there too.  We took a drive on Sunday out to the Dairy Farm.  The cows are so adorable, and the first time we saw them, I realized I had forgotten my camera.  So…we drove back to grandpa’s, got the camera and returned.  Needless to say, the shots were not so “candid” the second time around…but they capture the idea of it. 

Evie walked right up to the stalls at the first.  This baby cow had knocked its bucket out and so she helped by putting it back.

Boutique season is here!

My boutique is this weekend, and then the next weekend we have a booth at the pumpkin walk in Stansbury park.  Here are some items I’ve been working on.

These signs turned out so fun!  They are old crate boards & I stenciled a graphic onto them.  Different, but fun.

My niece Ashley received her young womanhood Recognition Award. I am so proud of her!  This is what we gave to her to tell her congratulations.  The other side has the other quote.  She can decide what kind of mood she’s in …

the only thing that keeps me going is how brilliant and amazing I am.

Sweet little 3 year old Evie

Evelyn is now three!  She loves her babies, dressing up in skirts (sometimes 5 at a time!), playing with her kitchen, eating broccoli, Bubble Guppies, singing I am a child of God in Portuguese, playing ABC’s on the computer, going to preschool, swinging on Grandpa’s swing, stacking blocks, watercolor painting, chocolate chips, marshmallows, Dora & hot chocolate!  We love her so much.  She is such a blessing in our life!

She was watching a movie in our bed and this is how we found her awhile later.  So precious. 

New bike from Em! (Jamison & brenda…thank you!)

She finally got a shirt with “mom” on it!! She has 2 “dad” shirts and was so excited to have one that said mom!

Setting up her new tea set for a tea party with clifford, cleo & T-bone. She plays with the tea set every single day.

Halloween Décor is back!!

It’s time to pull out the Halloween Décor.  I have a few pumpkins up already, but I’m thinking I need to add a little {SPOOKY} to it!

These blocks were made by painting them black, let it dry, add vinyl and paint over that orange.  Once dry, peel off the vinyl and there you have a fun, rustic look!

I love this witch in a frame!!  Plus, I decided to add a little sparkle to the frame and think it turned out so darling!

Technically, this is as {SPOOKY} as it gets around here!

Evie’s First Day of Preschool!

Evie started Preschool today!  She looked so adorable walking down the path to the house that it is in.  She walked right in and sat right down in the gathering area while the teacher was reading a book.  Yep…She is ready for school.  (well, preschool that is).

Reading is her favorite thing to do! 

New Vinyl Signs–FHE board, ABC board & FALL boards

My good friend Emily asked me to make her family a new FHE board. It was so fun working with her because she basically told me what she wanted, then we adjusted back and forth as we went.  So, it turned out to her liking (well, I hope so!  She’s only seen a picture of it!).  It is a chalkboard FHE board.  She’ll just write in the assigned names for the evening.  I have another boutique approaching in October, and so a made a few others for that.  Here’s a picture of one:

I saw this picture online & knew I wanted to make one for Evie.  So this is my {vinyl} take on the computer generated one: 

And of course, it’s 95 degrees outside, but fall is in the air!!!  There’s just something about school starting that makes me feel that way.  So, I had to do some Thanksgiving signs.  As I put them at the base of the tree, I thought how cute they might look actually attached to the tree!  hmmmmm. (As always, anything can be custom-made)

It’s preschool time!

Evelyn is starting preschool next week.  We went to her orientation, and she is ready to go!  The teacher is wonderful, (you have to put your child on the wait-list as an infant!) and Evie will be going with her friend Jacob.  (The teacher had children hold these sesame street puppets during some songs.)  Evie standing with her new friends.Jacob & “Aunt Sand”
